Love God, Love People.  That has been a statement that has been with the James family and the Insure Your Livestock insurance agency since its inception. With our ever changing world, one thing has and will always remain - our goal is to take care of our people the very best we can while honoring God in the midst. With over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, we have been blessed to meet and work with some of the greatest people out there. There is nothing more gratifying than to assist someone in their most crucial times of need. 

Owners and best friends Jimmy and Kayla James have been married for more than 26 years.  Their two children, Emilie and Jace, are actively involved in the family business. The James family roots run deep in Southwestern Oklahoma and they own and operate a small cow-calf program.  Angus, Maine and Simmental breeds are the base of their genetic program.

Even though Jimmy and Kayla’s children have aged out of the show ring, one of their favorite parts about the cattle industry remains investing in the future generations.

A crucial member of our management team is Mike Altom. He brings 20+ years of insurance expertise specializing in equine programs to our business. He is a competitive team roper himself and understands the needs of the equine industry.
